Entrance

Entrance into cave where vampire resides in vinelands.

Description[]

The vampire guild requires Level 15 and -5 REP to join. After joining you'll have bloodshot eyes and will be buffed in the day. Also, you'll have extra defense and deal extra damage at night. Vampirism also allows you to heal yourself from killing enemies. However becoming a vampire also removes the ability to heal from inns and makes you heal less from other sources that aren't killing enemies. Please note if you are an Arborian you are not able to join the vampire guild.

Requirements/Quests[]

Tier 0[]

Level 15 and -5 REP (Obtained by sacrificing 500 EXP to the hand, killing the InvestiGATOR instead of the vampire or failing the "Deliver Requiem Coin" Quest from Gorg)

Tier 1[]

Kill 100 enemies.

Tier 2[]

Sacrifice 100 EXP to the hand 20 times (2000 EXP total).

Known Locations[]

Dark Cave (A cave that connects between the Overgrown Forest and Flora Fields, also in front of the wizard house in the overgrown)

Tundra (near knight guild)

Flora Fields (near the bee dungeon behind white dandelions)

Vinelands (Go straight forward from the inn and should be behind the tree next to the wall, fairly near the Overgrown Forest entrance)

Deadlands/Void (After entering from the desert follow the right wall past the dead tree and the cave should be just before the wall bumps out. This is the entrance to the void, instead of following the bridge there is a small walk path on the right wall, following it all the way and you will find the cave.)

What descent looks like when a player uses it(very cool)

1st Ability - Descent (10 SP): You gain the ability to teleport back to the spawn point you last set. This ability has a 5 minute cooldown.

Notes[]

  • Sacrificing to the hand costs 100 EXP and gives -2 rep every time
  • Sacrificing takes away your current EXP in your bar. That means if you are level 20 with only 20 experience points it wont remove a level.
  • Every spawn location from the hand will also ask you to sacrifice 20% health for it
  • If you have already set a spawn at an inn before becoming a vampire, you will continue to respawn there, assuming it isn't overwritten with a new spawn location.
  • In an ironic twist, failing the InvestiGATOR's quest to kill a vampire by killing the InvestiGATOR himself is an easy, efficient way to lessen your reputation and obtain useful gear, in order to join the Vampire Guild faster.
